First SPECS system in Egypt

We are very happy to announce our first system installation in Egypt!

A SPECS ProvenX PS system is now the first XPS machine at the National Research Center in Dokki/Cairo. The system was set up under the supervision of Prof. Medhat Ahmed Ibrahim, and it will be used as a tool for material research by various researchers from within and outside the institute. The surfaces of conductive and insulating samples can be studies for chemical composition and electronic properties with high resolution XPS and UPS, and it is possible to perform depth profile analysis on layered structures.

We particularly enjoyed being able to measure real live samples, rock fragments of various origins, together with the end users on site immediately after installation. Together with our local partner ABCO (ABCO Egypt), we will offer the best possible service and support to the customers and look forward to a long and successful partnership.
