High performance VUV Light Source with Small Spot Capillary

A new generation of the UVS 300 has been released, the µSIRIUS Small Spot. The UVS 300 is a now a legacy product with full techncial support.

The UVS 300 is a real and unique duoplasmatron type discharge VUV light source. The discharge spot is confined to a small area, which makes this source the only available point source on the market. With the Elliptical transfer capillary it is possible to focus the full intensity of the emission spot to the sample without cutting the photon flux density compared to the non focussed source. The UVS 300 is compatible with the TMM 304 UV monochromator. The duoplasmatron design allows emission from very low gas pressure, yielding in the highest available He I to He II emission intensity ratio.
