µ-FOCUS 730 HE NAP
µ-FOCUS 730 HE small spot monochromatic hard X-ray source with Cr-anode for state-of-the-art HAXPES and NAP-HAXPES investigations
The µ-FOCUS 730 HE X-ray monochromator with Cr-anode is ideally suited for high resolution HAXPES measurements in the laboratory. By using an excitation energy of 5.4 keV (Cr Kα line), a deeper insight into the analyzed material is possible.
The µ-FOCUS 730 HE is a bolt-on component with spot sizes ranging between 200 μm to 600 μm, that can be operated in UHV, as well as under Near Ambient Pressure (NAP) conditions. The setup of anode, crystal and sample is following the classical Rowland geometry with a small Rowland circle diameter of 730 mm for small spot size stability and flux optimization. It can be combined with every PHOIBOS HV analyzer for most demanding UHV or NAP-HAXPES application. As well, it can be integrated in customized systems for dedicated HAXPES measurements.
