Differential Pumping System for XR 50 NAP X-ray Source

Differential pumping is used to maintain a large pressure difference between the analysis chamber, which is under near ambient pressure, and the XR 50 NAP X-ray source. This technique enables high resolution XPS measurements under near ambient pressure. The differential pumping unit consists of bypass connected to a  turbo pump and a oil free scroll pump used in the system.
