Digital power supply for SPECS scanning ion source IQE 12/38 with Wien mass filter. The COSCON WSIS combines the power units for the IQE 12/38 and the Wien mass filter in one device.
The COSCON WSIS is one of three power supply variants for the IQE 12/38 series, which allows to operate the source together with a Wien mass filter. The Wien mass filter purifies ion beam and enables isotopic pure and single charged beams for spectroscopic application with high sensitivity.
The device combines both power supplies for the IQE 12/38 and the Wien mass filter giving you a precise, highly stable and easy to use power supply. Its full integration into SpecsLab prodigy with its user friendly graphical interface allows for automatization of the IQE 12/38 with Wien mass filter. Alternatively, the power supply can be controlled by a web browser application via any mobile device.
Like the COSCON SIS and LSIS, it is possible to read back the sample current which facilitates the navigation on the surface for Ion scattering spectroscopy. Fast ethernet interface, low ripple electronics and state of the art firmware make the COSCON WSIS a reliable power supply for highly reproducible and precise data acquisition.
