ECC/HPC

Modern devices and materials, like catalysts or electrochemical devices are in the center of interest of surface analysis since about 15 years. The materials in such systems are often air or moisture sensitive, so that a transfer through air to the analysis system is not possible without losing the relevant information. Transfer vessels from glove boxes or reactors are available, but often tedious to use. Thus in-situ devices like the ECC or the HPC 20 running at up to 20 bar pressure are the key to surface analytical information, when integrated into the vacuum system.
