AUX modulator
Adds an AC modulation to the AUX high voltage signal
The AUX-modulator is specifically designed for adding a low-voltage AC signal to the AUX high-voltage output, when the required bandiwdth exceeds that of the HVA4. The signal is then usually sent to a tube scanner. The AC input connector is a simple BNC and the output is pin-compatible with the SOURIAU connector of the Nanonis HVA4 (High Voltage Amplifier). A BNC output provides an additional connection option for the summed DC+AC signal.
- Adds an AC modulation to the AUX high voltage signal
- No deterioration of HVA4 noise performance
- Bandwidth up to 100kHz
- Pin compatible with HVA4 output
Typical applications:
- KPFM
- PFM
- Any application requiring large DC voltages with small AC modulations
